Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBV) in Mirzapur are government-run residential schools specifically established to provide quality education to girls belonging to disadvantaged groups such as Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and minority communities.
